About Us

Rohr Motorsport has shifted gears from its racing days back in the 90’s. We now specialize in the promotion and sales of
high performance automobiles for show and for the track. Our showroom is located in Concord, California at the Buchanan
field airport. Here, we keep a limited number of specialty vehicles on-hand for display.

Race History (Season Highlights)

  • 1992

    After several years in club racing, Jochen Rohr competed in various endurance races in the IMSA Firehawk Series (GS class).

  • 1993

    Entered a 964 Carrera Cup Car in the IMSA Camel GT & Supercar Series.

    First showing in the 24 Hours at Daytona Endurance Race.

    Finished 2nd at the 500k race at Watkins Glen in the invitational GT class co-driving with John O’Steen

  • 1994

    Entered two 964 RSR’s in the IMSA GT Series (Drivers: John O’Steen and Jochen Rohr).

    Four top 3 finishes and ten top 10 finishes throughout season.

  • 1995

    Entered three 911’s at the 24 Hours of Daytona: 993 GT2, 964 RSR and 964 Cup.

    Finished 2nd in class (GTS-1) and 4th overall with the brand new factory GT2 in it’s maiden race
    (Drivers: Hurley Haywood, Jochen Rohr, Bernd Maylaender and David Murry).

    Won SCCA World Challenge Championships with two 993 GT2’s in all three divisions: Team, Manufacturer and Driver
    (David Murry 1st, Jochen Rohr 3rd).

    Finished season with five wins and eight top 5 finishes.

  • 1996

    Helped Porsche win the SCCA World Challenge Manufacturer’s tile with two wins, two 2nd places and two 3rd places in a 993 GT2 Evo.

  • 1997

    Won the GTS-1 Professional Sportscar Racing (IMSA)Championships in all three divisions: Team, Manufacturer and Driver (Andy Pilgrim).

    First place finish in GTS-1 at the 24 Hours of Daytona (Drivers: Andy Pilgrim, Jochen Rohr, Harald Grohs and Arnd Meier).

    Second place finish in GTS-1 at the 12 hours of Sebring (Drivers: Andy Pilgrim, Jochen Rohr and Richard Nearn).

    Four consecutive wins after mid-season switch to the 911 GT1 car with drivers Allan McNish and Andy Pilgrim.

    3rd place in the FIA GT race at Laguna Seca (Drivers: Allan McNish and Ralf Kelleners) with a 911 GT1 Evo.

  • 1998

    First place finish in GTS-1 (2nd overall) at the 24 Hours of Daytona (Drivers: Allan McNish, Danny Sullivan, Uwe Alzen, Dirk Mueller and Joerg Mueller) with a 911 GT1 Evo.
